Growing up in 80s Chicago, I was electrified by graffiti’s defiant pulse—a silent symphony that woke my Gen X soul. Art school unleashed the Gutai manifesto on me, a wild howl to shatter boundaries and let my art breathe fire.

Just shy of three decade career as an art director, designer and illustrator, I wield art discipline like a blade, but this isn’t a side hustle—it’s all-in, “Playing for Keeps.”

From Kansas City, my canvases erupt with Gutai’s raw fury, graffiti’s sharp bite, and the untamed sweep of the American West. I channel Brice Marden’s sleek grace, Chuck Close’s relentless grind—“Inspiration’s for amateurs, the rest of us just show up and get to work”—and Rauschenberg’s fearless collisions. My work’s a vivid, untamed clash with life’s wild heartbeat. Hope you enjoy it.
